About

BeginnerLongboarding.com is a site dedicated to helping those new to longboarding understand the basics behind it.  My name is Adam and I just started longboarding myself in 2010.  As with anything I do, I do a lot of research.  My research took me all over the web, so I thought it would be nice to have a “one stop shop” that explained all the fundamentals of longboarding.  I did a lot of research when choosing my first longboard and trying to learn how to do the basics.  So I read about some of the best brands to buy, and great techniques to try in order to learn how to longboard.  I am by no means a professional but have learned enough that I would like to share my knowledge with others.  I hope that this site can help others to become acquainted with longboarding faster! Thanks for reading!

The Derringer is my favorite lnroboagd. Good for cruising, fantastic for carving, and small enough to bring with you wherever you go. It’s small enough to fit into a big suitcase or body board bag to take on vacation.Try upgrading the wheels to the retro lime zig zags. Makes a big difference. I love the Derringer, I’ve been riding it every single day for 6 months.
